Hours: MWF 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and TR 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In order to follow current social distancing guidelines, please know that the door to the mail room will remain open during these times, but we respectfully ask that you remain at the counter and do not walk through the print shop/mail room during these hours.
Outgoing mail should be dropped in the labeled box that is just inside the door of the mailroom/print shop. Either Cheryl Heald or Renee Jones will then transport the outgoing mail to the Marcy post office after their shift for the day. The outgoing mail should be in the print shop by noon each day in order for it to be processed and taken to the post office.
Incoming mail will continue to be delivered by the post office to the mailroom in Kunsela Hall and will be sorted and stored in the mailroom by department. It will be held until departments are available to pick up their mail. Pickup can be during the open hours noted above or by appointment. Please communicate with Renee if you need to pick up mail outside the posted hours.
Residential student mail, for those that remain on campus, will be sent to the same location as meal pick up and follow the meal pick up process/schedule. All other first-class residential mail will be forwarded to the students’ permanent mailing address in Banner.
Renee Jones will be working a regular schedule, MWF from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will print any jobs sent to the print shop email address during that regularly scheduled time. If there are specific jobs that this schedule does not accommodate, please email Renee Jones so you can discuss a schedule with her. Print jobs will continue to be submitted through the regular process of emailing them to the print shop at firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, if you have larger jobs, please provide her some advance notice as she may need to stay longer to complete your job by a specified deadline.
Please keep in mind, it may take two days for a print/mail job to be fulfilled: one day to print and the next day to mail, depending on volume and work schedules.
Packages continue to be received and logged in at facilities in the central receiving office and will be sorted for faculty/staff and students.
Faculty/staff packages will be sent to the mail room and will be held with the sorted departmental mail. Please pick up packages during the designated times or schedule an appointment for pick up.
Residential students not currently on campus will receive an email from facilities central receiving to send a return label so they can forward the package as instructed by the student.
Residential students remaining on campus will have packages sent to the meal pick up location and will follow the meal pick up process/schedule for packages.
