ENVIRONMENTAL, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
The New York Center for Research, Economic Advancement, Technology, Engineering and Science (NY CREATES) is committed to protecting the environment and the health and safety of its students, faculty, staff, and other members of the campus community. NY CREATES will promulgate and publish Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures that comply with applicable EHS laws, rules and regulations. A copy of the NY CREATES procedures can be found electronically at the NY CREATES EHS website.
This EHS Policy and the associated procedures are applicable to all NY CREATES operating locations, specifically including, but not limited to, the Albany and Rochester sites.
All individuals who work at a NY CREATES location and all students are required to be familiar with and comply with EHS laws, rules and regulations as set forth in this Policy and the associated procedures, and they shall endeavor to promote EHS at NY CREATES’s locations.
The NY CREATES EHS Department will maintain the programs and procedures applicable to this EHS Policy.
Implementation of this EHS Policy and the associated programs and procedures is the responsibility of the entire NY CREATES community – students, faculty, staff and other members of the campus community. Accordingly, all individuals should act responsibly with respect to EHS issues while at any NY CREATES facility.
