Mission

FIRST Robotics Competition combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of real-world science and technology!

520 Mentor and Robot

FIRST Robotics Competition is the ultimate Sport for the Mind where high school teams use sophisticated technology to design, build and program custom industrial-size robots to compete on a specially designed playing field. Teams follow specific rules, and have limited time and resources to produce their robots. As students learn real-world engineering concepts, they build their confidence and workforce skills, and connect with professional team mentors and sponsors who can help them succeed.

Professional and student mentors volunteer their time and talents to guide each team.
