Library Thesis Policy

Library Handling of Graduate Theses, and Undergraduate Capstones and Other Significant Projects

After your thesis has earned departmental approval, two items must be submitted to the library via library@sunypoly.edu email address:

  1.  A digital file of your thesis, capstone or project including the attestation page with your reader/advisor signature(s)

  • in PDF format, if it is a text document
  • for digital files in other formats, please contact the library via library@sunypoly.edu regarding archivability

  2.  A signed non-exclusive distribution license for your work to be archived in SUNY's Open Access Repository, SOAR [link to blank release]

Cayan Library no longer provides bound copies of theses, capstones, and other significant student-authored works.  To arrange your own bound copy, you might consider using the third party service Thesis on Demand.
