Graduate Application Deadline

  • July 1 for fall admission
  • December 1 for spring admission

Exceptions

  • Family Nurse Practitioner (Fall start only): This program is currently accepting applications on a rolling basis until capacity is reached.
  • DNP and Post-Master’s Advanced Certificate in PMHNP (Fall start only): This program is closed and no longer accepting applications for Fall 2026. The Fall 2027 application will open in September.

Steps for Applying for Graduate Study

Step 1: Select a Graduate Program

If you are unsure of which program to select, please contact the Graduate Admissions Office at graduate@sunypoly.edu or 315-792-7347 to talk with a staff member about program options.


Step 2: Review the Admission Criteria and Required Materials for Your Program

Each graduate program requires specific supplemental materials.

Step 3: Apply for Admission and Pay the Application Fee

Use the online application to apply. You will not upload items during this process. You will receive an email from Graduate Admissions with the links needed to complete your application within 24–48 hours after submission.

Candidates who have previously matriculated and/or completed a graduate or graduate certificate program at SUNY Poly will apply for graduate readmission or to add a second degree.

Application Fee Waivers

The $60 application fee is waived for military veterans, active-duty military, reserve and guard members, and their spouses and dependents; SUNY Poly alumni; current matriculated students; and former EOP and CSTEP students.


Step 4: Submit Documents and Track the Status of Your Application

Upon receipt of your application and fee, Graduate Admissions will notify you via email of the required supplemental materials for the program you have applied to.

Online status checks are not available at this time. Please do not log back into your application to check your status.
