The estimated cost to attend school before scholarships or financial aid are applied is called the Cost of Attendance (COA), and it includes two types of expenses:
- Billable Expenses (or Direct Costs): Costs you pay directly to the school, like tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals.
- Non-Billable Expenses (or Indirect Costs): Costs you pay on your own, such as books, supplies, transportation, and off-campus living expenses.
