Dear Faculty,

Welcome to our annual SUNY Poly Student and Faculty Project Showcase 2024. We are currently less than a month away from the Showcase, to be held Friday, April 26, 2024, and we need faculty to serve as judges to evaluate the works presented.

Similar to last year, our judging will concern works presented through two modalities: online and in person. Judges will access the presentation materials uploaded on the Showcase website for the online evaluations, while the materials presented on campus will be evaluated during the Showcase.

The project will be assigned to participating judges based on judges’ background and preferences. Then, judges will evaluate the assigned project according to the rubrics provided.

Last year 45 posters and presentations required 135 evaluations for ranking and 17 judges had to deliver 8 evaluations each. Thus, this year we hope to have a larger number of faculty serving as judges to reduce the burden and to speed up the process.

Volunteering your time and expertise to serve as a judge rewards the efforts of our students.
