Biography
I am a clinical assistant professor in the School of Nursing in the College of Health Sciences. Currently I oversee the 1+2+1 Nursing Pathway. Recruited in 2007, I have taught nursing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I earned my doctorate from the University at Albany/SUNY, in Curriculum and Instruction. My area of research centers on pedagogy in nursing education. I recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Air Force/New York Air National Guard, after 22 total years of service, I believe I have internalized the Air Force core values of: “Integrity first, Service before self, and Excellence in all we do”.
