Robert T. Orilio
My teaching philosophy is to inspire the student to want to learn more about the study of finance through interaction in the classroom. Contemporary finance addresses issues that are life and death scenarios for companies. The acquisition and use of capital in the marketplace requires constant attention to events as they unfold in the macro operating system and within the firm itself. I direct my students to do the utmost to stay informed by listening and reading at all times. Finance is the center of the business universe and thus needs good, qualified people to make decisions that will advance the value of a corporation as it grows.
