Tracy Rosati
Prior to my professional teaching career, I worked in the medical field as a Phlebotomist, EKG Technician and Clinical Histotechnologist in surgical pathology. I am currently a NYS licensed Histotechnologist and certified to practice Histology through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). Additionally, I worked as a freelance Histologist helping researchers with their studies. My collaborations included Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, The Ludwig Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Midwestern University and the ALS Therapy Development Foundation. I am a graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University, majoring in Biology and Chemistry. My graduate studies include an MS in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton. I have spent my early teaching career as a high school NYS Regents Chemistry teacher but was able to expand my career in 2012 by accepting a position at Keiser University in Orlando, FL. I was appointed as the Histology Program Director of their NAACLS accredited program. It was a great professional experience. I returned to upstate NY for family reasons and have been working at SUNY Poly ever since. I find it very inspiring to work with the outstanding students, staff and faculty at SUNY Poly.
