An “Invitation Letter” for family or friends to attend your graduation ceremony is NOT a required document for any Visa interview.
Any individuals seeking a visa to come to the U.S. should review the information provided by the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in their country to determine the application process and requirements.
- You may view the list of all required application documents on the website for the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where you/your family members will be attending their interviews.
- Anyone attending an interview should carefully prepare the documents that are listed and required.
If you wish to "invite" your family to attend your graduation ceremony, this invitation must come from you, the student. SUNY Polytechnic Institute does not issue letters to “invite” family or friends to attend graduation.
