SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) computing and network resources are provided to you for completion of prescribed tasks as well as for non-commercial personal and professional development. Use of these resources is a privilege, not a right, and access is granted with restrictions and responsibilities for their use. You are the only person authorized to use the computer accounts that are issued to you in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state and local laws. It is the policy of the college to prosecute violations of the law. Misuse of SUNY Poly computer accounts for data network can result in revocation of the account and computing privileges, forfeit of all related fees and ineligibility of an account or access to the data network in the future.
