Area runners are invited to take part in the SUNYIT Fund 5k on Sunday, September 29. Participants will follow a course that winds through the SUNYIT campus in Marcy. The run starts at 8 a.m.; race registration will begin at 6:45 a.m.

Advance registration is available online at sunyit.edu/5k; advance registration is $20; race day registration is $30. Proceeds from the scholarship run will support scholarships for current and future students.

The first 150 runners will get a free t-shirt, and all participants will receive an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, provided by Sodexo Food Service, in the Campus Center after the run.
