A $14.5 million project that involved moving a busy road to allow for the expansion of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Albany has won an award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York.
The new intersection at Fuller Road, Washington Avenue and Washington Avenue Extension received the "Diamond Award," the highest honor in the transportation category, during the council's annual gala at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.
