SUNY Polytechnic Institute will merge its Children's Museum of Science and Technology in Troy, New York, with the Scotia-Glenville Children's Museum in Scotia.
The new organization will also be called the Children's Museum of Science and Technology. The museums are merging as a way of better using their combined resources to expand current programming, according to a SUNY Poly press release.
Together the museums "can engage an even greater number of young innovators and start them on a lifelong path of scientific learning and discovery,” said Children's Museum of Science and Technology board chair Pradeep Haldar in a statement.
