SHUT DOWN the competition!
- SHUT DOWN unnecessary lighting and electronics not in use. The electric meter will record less power.
- UNPLUG chargers, printers, speakers, gaming consoles when not in use. You will reduce standby loads.
- Do it in the DARK Fridays in April!

We are now entering the second week of our Campus Conservation Nationals (CCN) residence hall energy and water conservation competition. Ask your Residence Life Staff for ways you can get involved. Personal conservation commitments and info about SUNYIT residence hall energy and water usage can be seen at SUNYIT’s BuildingDashboard page.
This year we are also participating in a “Power of SUNY” competition against your fellow SUNY students at U at Albany, SBU, and New Paltz! Let's show them how much energy SUNYIT students can save!
