Six new consultants hired by Rochester-based LPA Software Solutions are working at the IBM Innovation Center in downtown Buffalo.
LPA, a business analytics firm, plans to hire an additional nine workers next month and place them at the IBM Innovation Center, located at 50 Fountain Plaza. LPA and IBM are business partners.
LPA Software Solutions, which dates to 2001, employs about 50 and sells IBM analytics software and products to more than 200 clients in a range of industries. The firm is part of the Innovation Center’s goal of bringing cutting-edge software development jobs to Buffalo. Predictive analytics and big data offerings present growth opportunities for LPA, whose clients can become more efficient, improve bottom lines and optimize their own products and services by predicting events in the future.
