State officials have agreed to pay nearly $90,000 in fees associated with storm water pollution prevention efforts at the RiverBend solar panel factory now under construction.
While fees often are waived for non-profit entities, the SUNY Polytechnic Institute, which is overseeing the project, said Monday it would not seek a waiver for the $89,900 fee from the Buffalo Sewer Authority “in a show of support and allegiance” with the city agency.
