Sematech and the newly merged SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering/SUNY Institute of Technology, have announced the creation of the Chemical Mechanical Planarizaton Center, based at the Albany, New York Nanotech complex.
The center aims to accelerate the development of next generation chemical mechanical technology and to improve the yield and lower production costs of the processes, according to a news release.
