The Business Review: SUNY Polytechnic Institute inks $2.9M deal
with Israeli consortium

SUNY Polytechnic Institute and Metro450, an Israeli consortium of companies and universities, will invest $2.9 million to develop standard calibration wafers.
Metro450 will commit $1.6 million to develop and produce standard calibration wafers to use with 300mm and 450mm tools. SUNY Polytechnic will commit $1.3 million in products, services and tool time. The semiconductor industry is transitioning to 450mm wafer technology.
