local companies in Thursday luncheon

ROME, N.Y. — Mohawk Valley EDGE will recognize five Mohawk Valley firms with its Leading EDGE Awards during a “sold out,” 12 p.m. luncheon on Thursday at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Marcy.
The Leading EDGE Awards honor Mohawk Valley businesses that are “helping expand the region’s economy through investment and job growth,” Mohawk Valley EDGE said in a news release issued Monday .
“The Leading EDGE Awards recognize companies in the Mohawk Valley who have had a significant impact on the region’s economy,” Steven DiMeo, president of Mohawk Valley EDGE, said in the release. “Whether in manufacturing, agribusiness or tourism, these companies are steadfast leaders in their respective industries and contribute to the superb quality of life in the region.”
