“In 2021, progress is being seen on SUNY campuses as more and more of our colleges and universities are opening up space for state and local officials to administer vaccinations across our state. Today, Binghamton University, University at Buffalo, and the SUNY Polytechnic Institute campus in Utica are open for eligible New Yorkers to get their vaccine. These sites, as well as four other state-run campuses and 25 community-run institutions make up the SUNY network of vaccination centers to date, as well as our three SUNY hospitals that have used 100 percent of their allotment to vaccinate health care personnel. We are proud to be able to provide this resource for the people of New York State, and we will continue to do so with each vaccine delivery to our state. My thanks today to the presidents and their teams at Binghamton, UB and SUNY Poly for their ongoing partnership with their local communities to help protect New Yorkers from this virus.”
