SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Albany, formerly known as the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, has been named the top university in the nation for business-funded research and development by the National Science Foundation.
SUNY Poly has $201.6 million in research and development expenditures derived from more than 300 private partners, according to a National Science Foundation report. The college also has operations in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Utica.
