As a courtesy to students,  the deadline to waive the medical insurance fee has been extended through Monday, September 1st.

All undergraduate, graduate and online students taking 12 or more credits or nursing students taking 4 or more credits are required to have current medical insurance.  You are automatically enrolled AND billed for medical insurance designated by SUNYIT UNLESS you complete the electronic waiver your first semester and EACH fall semester thereafter. Completion of the waiver this semester remains effective for this entire college year (fall 2014 and spring 2015 semesters).

This semester, the fee is $417. It is automatically included on your tuition bill unless you complete the online waiver at  http://healthwaiver.sunyit.edu.

Check your tuition bill. If you are being billed, then you are automatically enrolled. If you have proof of other medical insurance coverage and want to decline the CDPHP policy, you must submit the online waiver by Monday, September 1st .  Failure to complete the waiver by this date will result in enrollment and you will be billed a $417. non-refundable medical insurance fee. No exceptions will be made after this extended deadline.

Remember, regardless of your medical insurance coverage, you can utilize services provided by the Health & Wellness Center/Counseling Center.
