SUNY Poly Professor and Psychology Program Coordinator Dr. Kazuko Behrens recently attended the International Attachment Conference (IAC) in Rouen, France. While there, she presented research titled, “Exploring the neurobiological determinants to understand maternal sensitivity: What do mothers’ brains see when they see their child?” She was also the discussant for the symposium, called, “Attachment Representations, Peer Functioning, and Adjustment in Asian Contexts.”
 
Prior to the conference, Dr. Behrens spent a couple of months in the UK, where she was a visiting professor/researcher at the University of Cambridge.
