SUNY Polytechnic Institute is hosting GPRO Fundamentals of Building Green and Operations & Maintenance specialty training October 22 & 23, 2015 at the Utica campus.

GPRO is a comprehensive national training and certificate program developed by Urban Green Council and US Green Building Council New York. Green Professional Building Skills Training (GPRO) teaches the people who build, renovate, and maintain buildings the principles of sustainability combined with trade-specific green construction knowledge.

Trainees will receive the Fundamentals and O&M courses (12-hours) in the two-day program. Certification is achieved by examination. The training qualifies for AIA and GBCI CE Credits. Tuition has been lowered through USGBC New York by a grant from NYSERDA.
