Home Care Aides, PCA's CNA's and HHA's, part time positions for CareGivers in the Oneida County area.  Looking for caring, dependable people to work on our team.

DUTIES: Provide personal care & related service to individuals, either in the client's home or in the client's hospital room; observe client & communicate any change in status.  Prepare & submit accurate and timely documentation of services provided to clients as required by policies and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have completed an approved NYS Dept of Health Homemaker/Home Health Aide Training program OR  must successfully complete the competency testing if meeting the NYS criteria.  Candidates meeting NYS criteria include Nursing School students who have completed Nursing Fundamentals and other candidates with one (1) year of nurse assistant experience within the last 5 years.

Must be physically capable of performing the job.  Essential Functions:  lifting & turning of patients in bed or chair; transferring patients from bed to chair, etc.; giving a complete bed bath; assist with bathing at sink, tub, or shower; bed making; assist with toileting; patient transfer with use of equipment; assist with ambulation; assist with feeding; perform light housekeeping activities.  Must have excellent work ethic, dependable transportation, and flexible availability for this position.  Hours vary, up to 40+ hours/week, all shifts available, including some weekends.  Immediate work is available for those certified in HHA or CNA.  Minimum 8th grade education required.  Pay starting at $9.00/hour (some assignments pay more).  Agency services are available seven days per week.  Benefits explained.  Reference & security check and a physical exam required.  Must be bondable.   **TO APPLY:  Please call 315-797-7050 prior to reporting in person.
