and community. The IT Support Specialist will initially work out of the Geneva office, but there

is flexibility regarding placement. While remote support is available, travel to other LawNY

will be necessary.

Description​: The IT Support Specialist will support and maintain in­house computer systems,

desktops, and peripherals, includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all

hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The IT Support Specialist

will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and

assistance where required.

The IT Support Specialist will work with LawNY’s Technology Coordinator to develop expertise

regarding technology innovations in legal services infrastructure and service delivery, analyze

promising technologies, and recommend technologies that LawNY should implement. He or she will

also assist the Technology Coordinator in technology grant writing, technology planning, setting

technology business objectives, technology project management, and technology­related reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties

● Provide helpdesk support and services to LawNY

● Troubleshoot and maintain Windows server environment

● Troubleshoot and maintain LAN and WAN networks

● Resolve hardware/software/networking issues remotely

● Provide first level support with Polycom phones

● Coordinate service requests with onsite technology responsible persons

● Devise and execute plans for hardware and software upgrades/rollouts

Qualifications

● Received an Associate’s or technical degree; bachelor's degree preferred

● At least two years of experience in user training and support

● Proficiency in Windows applications, Microsoft Windows/Server/Office, GoogleApps,
