M.A. Polce Consulting, Inc. located in Rome, has an opening for
an individual to provide all aspects of day-to-day support to
users in a Windows-based environment. Key responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, help desk functions,
maintenance of internal and external systems, databases,
networking equipment, personal computer systems and peripherals.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides excellent customer service
while promptly responding to inbound help desk telephone
calls, e-mails and service tickets
-
Identifies, researches and resolves
technical issues that affect the following technologies:
desktops & laptops, Internet & intranet
connectivity, server infrastructure, telecommunications
technology, local and network printers & wireless
equipment

Provides support for Windows Server
2000/2003/2008 networks
-
Performs user maintenance through
Active Directory
-
Documents, maintains and updates
standard operating procedures
-
Support & maintains firewall
appliances (ex. SonicWALL, Cisco)
-
Uses a basic knowledge of
networking (Switching & Routing) to resolve
connectivity issues
-
Support & maintains Backup
systems (Acronis, Veritas, Backup Exec, Remote Backup
and BackupAssist)
-
Knowledge of Antivirus and
Anti-Malware applications
-
Effectively work with software
vendors and partners to resolve issues quickly and
efficiently
-
