Admissions Advisor (SL3)


SUNY Institute of Technology


 


Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the major responsibilities will include: recruitment of prospective students; serving as the primary source of information for transfer students regarding policies and practices; evaluating transfer student applications for admission; and developing and maintaining relationships with academic departments as well as community colleges to effectively recruit and enroll transfer students.  Attendance at off- and on-campus events/college fairs, including travel across New York and out-of-state, evening, and weekend work is required.  Candidates selected for an interview will be required to make a group presentation. Position is available immediately.   Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; a valid driver’s license; effective interpersonal skills, especially writing and public speaking; and computer proficiency.
