Lecture series to focus on impact of bullying

The Provost’s Lecture Series continues on Friday, February 14, noon-2 p.m., with a presentation by three members of the faculty—Joanne Joseph, Veronica Tichenor and Rosemary Mullick—entitled “Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Bullying.” The presentation will take place in the Student Center theater.

The three will discuss how the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on bullying behavior, as well as the moderating effects of various forms of social support from family, school and community on the bullying experience.

The Provost’s Lecture Series allows SUNYIT faculty to share their research interests and activities with colleagues, the campus community and the general public. Other lectures in the series this academic year are scheduled March 14, April 11 and May 9.
