NY1113238 Machine Operators. Full-time positions for Environmental Composites, Utica, NY.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in set-up of production machines daily per established procedures; Assist in operation of production machines; Manipulate controls in an efficient manner to minimize waste; Detect & report machine malfunctions promptly; Maintain adequate supply of operating materials for production machines; Package & transport produced parts as needed; Maintain a clean work area; Follow safety procedures & report any dangerous conditions immediately; Ensure that all safety regulations & rules are met; Investigate & report any accidents or significant safety violations; Adhere to all company policies & procedures; and wear personal protective equipment per training guidelines. Employer will provide comprehensive training to the right candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or its equivalent and one year of any kind of manufacturing/production experience. An equivalent combination of education & experience will be considered. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Reference check and pre-employment drug test required Veterans and On the Job Training eligible individuals are encouraged to apply.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions & procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports & correspondence; Basic math skills and basic computer skills, including basic knowledge of spreadsheet software. Physical Demands: regularly required to stand, walk, use hands & talk or hear; occasionally required to sit; reach with hands & arms; climb or balance; & stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

HOURS: Full time, Four 12 hour days. Work days and times vary. Overtime. Starting pay is $11.00/hour.
