MULTIMEDIA ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

The top television station in the Utica Market is looking for an Multimedia Account Executive for business development and customer retention across all of WKTVs platforms WKTV, CW11, WKTV.com, WKTV on the GO and WKTV Interactive.

This position will require the person selected to be a team player on a top flight sales force. You will present solutions to new and existing customers across all of our platforms, including WKTVs platforms WKTV, CW11, WKTV.com, WKTV on the GO and WKTV Interactive. Tools, training and a motivating environment are provided to help achieve career goals and personal growth. Compensation will be discussed based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, grow and manage key accounts in the Utica Market; maintain customer satisfaction and accountability through consultative selling; network locally to stay abreast of emerging television and digital solutions; work with the General Sales Manager and Director of Digital Media to develop short-term, mid-term and long-term sales plan to reach goals; complete necessary business activity plans and forecasts as required.

The ideal candidate must possess a solutions oriented mindset and have a deep understanding of television, new media technology and social media. Technical skills include knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Expectations include ability to work independently, possess effective management skills and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position reports to the General Sales Manager.
