GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Institute women’s volleyball team claimed its second straight North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) regular season championship, giving the Wildcats the right to enter the conference tournament as the top seed.
The Wildcats finished with a 12-1 conference record following the end of their regular season schedule this weekend. They will now be the No. 1 seed of the seven-team NEAC Women’s Volleyball Championship Tournament, which is scheduled to begin on either Tuesday, November 1 or Friday, November 4.
As the top seed, SUNY Poly will host the Final Four portion of the NEAC Tournament on Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6. The conference champion will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
