Sunday’s workshop was hosted by Ken Mazlen, an Emeritus professor of sociology at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. He has focused on issues caused by climate change for the last several decades.Flooding was one of the impacts of global warming Mazlen spoke about with a small crowd. He said the Midwestern portion of the country has the most severe flooding and also brought up local flooding, including the Halloween flood that decimated the region.
