SUNY Polytechnic Institute assistant professor Firas Khasawneh was selected by the National Science Foundation to receive $93,111 in funding for ongoing research at the Utica campus.
The award is part of a larger grant by the NSF committing nearly $300,000 to the project, “Machine Learning on Dynamical Systems via Topological Features,” which partners Khasawneh with researchers at the University of Albany and Michigan State University.
