Norsk Titanium's development destined for Plattsburgh has been described as "transformational" and "a game changer." That's no exaggeration — and this plan is actually going through.

The company has a patented process that will use computer-operated 3-D imaging machines to produce titanium aerospace parts at a huge saving over the way they are now made.

The plant will be constructed at the former Clinton County Airport in the Town of Plattsburgh and will include a research facility operated through SUNY Polytechnic Institute and workforce training programs through that institute and the local colleges.
