Dr. Juan-Felipe Henao-Piza, Associate Professor of Management Science in SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s College of Business, has served as Editor-in-Chief of Estudios Gerenciales since 2021. Under his leadership, the journal advanced from Q4 to Q2 in the Scopus Social Sciences ranking, marking a significant rise in global impact.

As Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Henao chairs the editorial committee, guides editorial policies and strategy, evaluates submissions, makes final publication decisions, and promotes the journal’s profile and visibility within the academic community.

Published by Universidad Icesi (Colombia), Estudios Gerenciales specializes in management and economics research, with contributions from a broad international network — 65% of authors come from institutions across Latin America and Europe.
