Ask yourself: how much would a student pay to pitch a pie in your face?
  • "You have an outstanding balance on your account...."
  • "Your advisor said you won't qualify for a triple major."
  • "That office is in another building.  Across campus.  On the edge of the universe, actually."
  • "There's a few forms we need first..."

If these phrases have come up in conversations with students, they may be willing to fork over the family farm for an opportunity like this!

It's all in support of cancer research &  the SUNY Polytechnic's Relay for Life on March 31st in the Wildcat Field House.  Last year, there was a single staff participant in the pie-in-the-face portion of the event (Rob Schoener, head coach men's basketball) who raised $150.
The Fine Print
The Relay goes all night; pies will be tossed for one hour only - between 8 and 9 PM.  You are only committed to be a pie target for 10-15 mins; if you need a specific time slot, let us know & we'll do our best to accommodate your schedule.  You will be given plastic draping to cover your couture. "Pies" are painless paper plates of delicious whipped cream.  Relay participants pay $1 to toss a pie; major league baseball pitchers are excluded from this portion of the event.
Too dignified for pie?
Join a team.  Walk as long or as little as you like.  It's exercise for a good cause.  Hope to see you there!
