Each year a new group of first-year students join the SUNY Poly community and starts their higher education journey with us. The Office of Residential Life and Housing is hoping you will join us to celebrate and support the Class of 2019 on Move-in Day, Friday, August 28, to help welcome these students to the campus and assist with moving them into Oriskany Residence Hall.

Move-in will be between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and we are seeking faculty and staff to help assist during that time. If you are able to volunteer your time and energy, please use the link below to confirm your available times. Please check with appropriate supervisors to confirm your ability to be out of your office. We also ask all supervisors to allow staff to help, when possible, as we cannot have a successful move-in without the support of our volunteers. We have a full house, including tripled rooms, at Oriskany this year and a condensed move-in time frame. We need many helpers!

Our volunteers also serve to show nervous parents and families that there is a friendly, welcoming and helpful team here to help their students adjust to college life. We appreciate everyone's presence on an important day for families.
