SUNYIT will host an international conference May 16-17 on its Marcy, N.Y., campus in partnership with the University of Security Management (VŠBM) in Košice, Slovakia, and Tomas Bata University (TBU) in Zlín, Czech Republic. “Safety and Security in the Global Age” will explore a broad range of safety and security issues and topics, including Information Safety and Security, Infrastructure Safety and Security, and Health Care Safety and Security. Officials will also discuss planned joint teaching and research opportunities at the three institutions under the terms of collaborative agreements SUNYIT has signed with VŠBM and TBU. TBU emphasizes providing essential skills its graduates need to develop successful careers in an international environment.
