Sodexo welcomes new General Manager Patrick Raynard to SUNY Polytechnic Institute‘s Utica campus. Patrick‘s team includes Brian Donovan, Executive Chef; Ashley Fallon, Unit Marketing Coordinator; and Deanna Santino, Administrative Assistant.

In an effort to better service the campus, Patrick and his team have streamlined the catering policies so that internal audiences are accommodated in a timely manner, getting the highest quality cuisine at the best possible price.

The new Flavours by Sodexo catering guide will be located on the Sodexo website and on the Campus and Corporate Events webpage. This guide is your resource to the highest level of food quality and service provided by a team that is dedicated to providing service and menu flexibility so that your event is uniquely your own. Sodexo also can provide centerpieces for your event pending ordering early enough. Please consult with the Director of Campus and Corporate Events for more information.

Please see the new Catering Request for Proposal form under the forms tab on the Campus and Corporate Events webpage. This form is designed for you to provide information to the Office of Campus and Corporate Events for catering services on campus. Once the form is submitted, you will be provided with a catering form indicating options, menus, and fees based on your request. The catered function is approved for service once the client confirms the menu and provides account number(s) and appropriate signatures.

Catering must be finalized in advance with attendance figures due 2 weeks prior to the scheduled event. When you provide your final catering count, the room will be set up based on that count. If you ask for the room to be set up for more than your confirmed count, your invoice will reflect the higher count. Any changes, additional requests, or cancellations must be called into or emailed to the Office of Campus and Corporate Events.

Catering scheduled less than 2 weeks in advance may result in higher costs based on urgency of orders with Sodexo’s food purveyors.
