SUNY BEST - "Training Within Industry (TWI)" -
Wednesday-September 18 - 8 am - MPR2
Training Within Industry (TWI) is an employee training
methodology that was developed and perfected during World War II
to efficiently and effectively train new employees to do
complicated tasks to meet urgent wartime needs. After the war,
the approach was largely forgotten until the mid 1990s when it
was found to still be the most effective way to train people. It
was also found to be the perfect training complement to
continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma.
Scott Curtis from the TWI Institute will introduce you to the
process in this free to the public workshop. A light breakfast
will be served.
