SUNY Empire State College, Office for Integrated Technologies, seeks a Senior Network Engineer (State Title: Senior Programmer-Analyst) at our Saratoga Springs, NY location.

This key position will focus on engineering and maintaining a state-of-the-art network serving the college’s LANs, WLANs and WANs needs at over 35 locations across New York State. The objective of the Office of Integrated Technologies is to provide support, coordination, management and leadership to the academic and administrative divisions in support of the mission, vision and goals of SUNY Empire State College. This includes providing innovative and sustainable technology digitally connecting all the college’s stakeholders where variable models of teaching and learning can occur at anytime and anyplace.

The Senior Network Engineer will assist in designing, setting up, configuring and supporting all internal and external college networks. This position will assist in engineering and maintaining network connections, troubleshooting network problems and performance issues, and serve as Tier 3 technical support to the group’s network engineers.
