SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) has been named to the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Transfer Honor Roll, an accolade awarded to the top 25% of four year institutions excelling in transfer student support and success. This year, PTK recognized 251 colleges and universities for exemplary transfer pathways. SUNY Poly has been named to PTK's Transfer Honor Roll since 2021, reflecting the university's commitment to creating effective, accessible, and student centered transfer pathways.

The PTK Honor Roll identifies institutions leading in six critical areas: transfer data, admissions, cost of attendance, campus life, recruitment, and bachelor’s degree completion outcomes and is based on 40 key performance metrics.

A cornerstone of SUNY Poly’s transfer support is the Path to Poly Seamless Transfer Initiative, which includes articulation agreements and dual admission programs with key partner community colleges such as Mohawk Valley Community College, Herkimer College, Onondaga Community College, and Hudson Valley Community College, among many other two-year colleges. These agreements ensure that credits transfer smoothly, minimize barriers, and include scholarship opportunities and access to dedicated transfer admissions advisors.
