Due to the current winter weather advisory (Snowfall in the region): 

• In-person classes are cancelled until noon on February 6, 2025 and liberal leave is implemented for faculty and staff until that time. Online classes will continue as scheduled.

Due to inclement weather in the region, SUNY Poly administration is implementing liberal leave as indicated above on Thursday, February 6, 2025 until noon for SUNY Poly employees, which means employees, with supervisory approval, who are performing non-immediate, non-essential functions, may leave early and/or take time off whereby employees will use their vacation, holiday, or personal paid time off accruals. If possible, non-essential employees are encouraged to work remotely for the day with supervisory approval but may also elect to request time off. To learn more about liberal leave, click here.

 If an employee does not have vacation, holiday, or personal paid time off accruals, the administration will consult with SUNY Poly Human Resources and make a determination on a case-by-case basis.
