Due to the current lake effect snow warning (Snowfall in the region): 

• With the safety of our students, faculty, and staff as our top priority, all in-person classes are cancelled on Tuesday, February 18, due to continued severe weather conditions. Also, liberal leave is implemented for faculty and staff. Online classes will continue as scheduled. 

Please note, for faculty and staff:

Due to inclement weather in the region, SUNY Poly administration is implementing liberal leave as indicated above on Tuesday, February 18 for SUNY Poly employees which means employees, with supervisory approval, who are performing non-immediate, non-essential functions, may leave early and/or take time off whereby employees will use their vacation, holiday, or personal paid time off accruals. If possible, non-essential employees are encouraged to work remotely for the day with supervisory approval but may also elect to request time off. To learn more about liberal leave, click here.

 If an employee does not have vacation, holiday, or personal paid time off accruals, the administration will consult with SUNY Poly Human Resources and make a determination on a case-by-case basis.
