Sustainability Across the Curriculum Online Workshops

This online event is designed for higher education instructors wishing to infuse issues of sustainability (ecological stability, social equity, and economic vitality) into their curriculum regardless of the discipline.
Sustainability issues cross all disciplines and the intent of this course is to identify those areas of intersection. Effective assessment of critical thinking skills, collaboration, creativity, and the ability to analyze, discuss and create solutions to real-world sustainability problems will be explored.
When : May 22 - June 25 and June 26 - July 30
Three graduate credits available through Aurora University. Students must have earned a bachelor’s degree to receive graduate credits. There is an additional fee of $300 for graduate credit, payable to Aurora University. Before class begins, Moraine Valley will contact enrolled students about completing required form and payment. (3 graduate credit hours).
This workshop is being hosted by Moraine Valley Community College as one of 13 Centers for Sustainability Across the Curriculum, a program supported by the Association for the Advancement of Higher Education (AASHE). Find out more about these Centers and AASHE.
