Syracuse Post-Standard: Movie 'American Dresser' could
film this summer at NYS Fair, producer says
SYRACUSE, N.Y . – The filming of "American Dresser," a motorcycle road-trip movie, will begin in August, with some of the first scenes likely shot at the New York State Fair, according to the film's producer.
The footage captured at the fair would likely be cutaways, short pieces to fill in scenes shot at this summer's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, according to The Film House president Ryan Johnson.
Then the crew will spend about five weeks in early fall filming in the Syracuse area with an ensemble cast starring Tom Berenger, Jeff Fahey, Harry Dean Stanton, and Penelope Ann Miller, Johnson said.
