Pi, the number that represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, begins with 3.14 so Pi Day is celebrated on 3/14.
Troy's Catholic Central High School students design and dressed in Pi T-shirts on Friday. Some dressed up as Albert Einstein, whose birthday also is March 14 . The student body also formed the Pi equivalent in the Monsignor Burns Gymnasium.
